Our Border Terrier, Elliot, 'raised' almost every Dandie Dinmont Terrier litter we have had in our home. He is very gentle when the Dandies are small, and is tough as nails when they are big. Although the adult Dandies are much larger than Elliot, they enjoy his company and treat him respectfully.
We have many requests for more information about him, so, this is Elliot's Page.
Elliot loves the Earth Dog tunnels, even on rainy days!
Elliot loves agility, especially running up the side of the tunnels!

Elliot loves to show in Conformation!

Elliot with his friend Whynsome. Whynsome was our second therapy dog; she is now a memory.
Elliot is a blue and tan Border Terrier. His AKC name is Dixieland Sterling Petes Dragon, in honor of the movie Pete's Dragon. In the film, the dragon (also named Elliot) was a friend to the suffering boy.

As a Delta registered therapy dog, he volunteers at the local Children’s Hospital. Click Delta to learn more about the Delta therapy dog program.
Elliot's favorite day of the week is his 'see-the-kids-day'. He doesn't even mind taking his bath, having his nails filed, and getting his teeth brushed. Elliot loves to visit the children in the hospital. He presses his nose to the car window and wags his 'tail off his body', as we drive down the Interstate toward the hospital exit.
